Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed online with Dilliway & Dilliway. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

Delivery and Postage Costs

Postage and packing charges are automatically calculated by our shopping cart and vary according to which items have been purchased. Orders are normally dispatched from our store within five working days, often sooner, unless they are temporarily out of stock. If an item is out of stock and there is going to be a longer delay, we will inform you by email and offer you a revised delivery date.

Postage and packing is worked out by the weight of your order. The minimum cost for handling and postage cost is £4.50.

We use a number of carriers depending on the weight and destination of each order.

Delivery costs for furniture will be calculated separately as the final cost of shipping will be dependent on the delivery destination. Upon receipt of an order for a piece of furniture we will contact you directly to discuss delivery options and costs. Customers should select ‘Local Pickup’ when purchasing furniture.

All items can be collected for free directly from our shop.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Outstanding orders can be cancelled at any time.

Returns and Exchanges

A full refund is available on any items or goods purchased from our online shop if you change your mind, or if a purchase does to meet your expectations . You will need to pay the return cost of postage. If a return is necessary, please do the following:

  • Contact us either via email, telephone or in writing within 7 working days from the day after delivery and return the goods within 28 days
  • In the event of an exchange please state your required exchange item clearly.
  • Return products to us in their original packaging and labels.
  • All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.
  • We recommend that any items returned to us should be sent by Royal Mail special delivery with insurance paid.
  • Please be sure we have your full name & address, phone number and email address.
  • Your statutory rights are not affected.


In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the invoice or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such items must be notified by you to us within 7 working days of receipt. We will endeavour fully to correct any failure with your order. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier.

Upon your notification we will require the goods to be returned at our cost and they will be replaced with great speed, unless a refund is required. The refund will be made upon receipt of the goods.


We would like you to be confident about ordering online, we use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe and information you provide is fully encrypted so that it cannot be read by third parties. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing a locked padlock icon or an image of a key in the bar at the base of your screen.

We strive to offer you the best customer service possible. We welcome all feedback about our online shop and we aim to deal with any problems or difficulties experienced by our customers both quickly and fairly.

Our shop opening hours are 10.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 12.00 – 5.00 pm on Sunday (British time).

Payment Options

There are three ways to pay for goods at Dilliway & Dilliway:

Online – You can use this site by adding products to your virtual shopping bag and then use the secure checkout process to pay for them via Paypal. You must have a Paypal account in order to purchase products from the online store. All credit/debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder. You can also pay by direct bank transfer. You will  need your sort code and account number to use this option.

By phone – You can order any of our products by calling 01458 833463 and quoting the product name. We accept Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Switch, Delta, Maestro and Solo cards.

On collection – Customers who select Local Pickup as an option when it comes to delivery can choose to pay for their items when they collect them.

Products, Prices & Content

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated.

Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.

Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter from the shop is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.

We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Privacy Policy

We will collect and store information about you to allow us to primarily process and fulfill any order requirements, and secondly to add your name and address to a mailing list in order to update you on any offers or promotions will are running.

We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer whilst using our services.

The type of information that we will collect will include – Your title and name, known address, contact telephones numbers, e-mail address, order and payment details.

Your personal data will not be passed onto any other party in any circumstances.

Ownership of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Dilliway & Dilliway until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
